Unfinished Obituary

My first today
with no tomorrow.
The clock is broken,
no time left to borrow
a half-cup of hope,
a dash of compassion,
something to wear
that's not out of fashion...

  1. It's so beautiful and so inspiring, Cory! But why are thinking of obituaries? Think of laughters, and snowy days warm at home, and favorites smells, and favorite friends, and poems and words - you are the sweetest thing ever. I love you.

  2. KC! Where have you been? I've missed you. This isn't really me. Life has been especially good lately. (Probably due to poetic catharsis). I wrote this three years ago, but it was more for ironic amusement than as an heavy death obsession!

    Come back soon!

  3. Oh Coreo- you know- I am a sucker for obits! I think that you should write obituaries, several of them for everyone still living..."born in Eisenhauer on the 23rd of bullshit, she killed more pets than she saved. we will miss her and know that she is with heavenly father who has grounded her for eternity." Oh yeah...

  4. So Ms. Coreo- have you written your obit? Where are you? If you are dead you need not answer...
